FIRST OFF KEEP IN MIND THAT WE WILL BE CLOSED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC DECEMBER 10th & 11th FOR THE ''SHANE WATTS OFF ROAD SCHOOL''.

PLEASE check out our rules page. We have relaxed a few of them to better able folks to come and ride. WE are now in the process of moving a bath and shower building over to the park. IT will take a while to freshen it up. IT will have two flush toilets and two showers and hot water we are building a ½ mile MX track and also an ENDURO CROSS SECTION. WE are also going to build a 4 wheel mud drag strip. It should be around 400 to 500 feet long, with separate lanes.

WE ARE ALSO TALKING ABOUT HAVING SOME EVENTS FROM TIME TO TIME.

BOTH for dirt bikes and 4 wheelers. IF you have been here before, would you please send me your ( e-mail address) & your phone #. This way we can contact every one when we have an event. Send it to me (DEXTER) STARTING JANUARY 01/01/2012 , we will be offering one year membership, both single and family.

WE WILL BE OPEN THANKSGIVING---THRU, FRI, SAT &SUN 8am to 5pm EACH DAY.

WE ARE WORKING VERY HARD TO MAKE OUR PARK A PLACE THAT YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILIES WILL WANT TO COME TO.

HELLO YA ALL!

Well, a lot is going on at the park! I have added a lot of new trails and the beginnings of a MX track, which will be low impact. I am in the process of building a new trail that will go all through the woods around the MX track. It will also enter the MX track and exit it or you can continue on the trail without entering the MX track. 

Also, there is going to be an ENDURO CROSS section on the trail. You will be able to run through it or by-pass it. We are also in the process of moving a building over to the park, which will have two showers and two toilets (flush type), “NO STINK”. By the way, the MX track will be for 4 & 2 wheel, as will the trail. 

THANKS to GULF POWER, for dropping off a whole bunch of utility poles. We will use them for the Enduro Cross section and for seats out on the trails so folks can stop and rest or BENCH RACE for a while. And, we will find other uses for them.


ANNOUNCEMENTS:

I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO ANNOUNCE THAT I AM GOING TO BE PROVIDING A REPAIR SERVICE FOR 4 WHEELERS, DIRT BIKES ( 2 & 4 STROKE), SIDE BY SIDE ATVS. INCLUDED ARE THE OPTIONS TO CHANGE TIRES AND FIX FLATS.

THE WEATHER IS GREAT, BEST RIDING TIME OF YEAR, ESPECIALLY 10 AM TO 4 PM. THIS WINTER, WE WILL BE OPEN SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS FROM 8 AM TO DARK.

HI FOLKS!  FIRST OFF WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL OF YOU THAT HAVE COME TO RIDE IN THIS HEAT. MAN, IT HAS BEEN HOT!!

I WOULD LIKE TO DRAW YOUR ATTENTION TO A WIN FOR THE GOOD GUY'S. THIS IS THE BILL THAT OUTLAWED THE SALE OF KIDS DIRT BIKES AND ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLES BECAUSE OF LEAD IN THE CABLES AND CALIPERS. GO TO www.dirtbikemagazine.com and click on NEWS and look for Obama signs lead law-exemption bill for kids' OHVs.

OK SO NOW TO THE PARK!!
We have added about 3 miles to the 2-wheel trail. it is single track with some wide grass roads and some tight single track. it is still ruff but is ride able. We have also added about 2 miles to the 4-wheel trail, and some wet areas too. We will also be adding an Enduro cross section soon. We are also planning to turn the TT TRACK into a small, low impact MX track for both 2 and 4-wheelers. We have installed a shower at the bike wash platform. It is out in the open.  Soon, we will have an enclosed one. We also put a small jump at the mud section (mud when wet!!) SO, for the park, that’s about it.

ONE LAST THING, as some may know I am a great supporter of "FTR" FLORIDA TRAIL RIDERS. THIS is an organization I have been a member of for over 35 years. WE have over 3,000 members (I think) lol. FTR has a great race schedule and I have been given permission to post it on our web site. SO if you look on our HOME page, you will see a link to the schedule. WELL, HELLO EVERYONE! WE ARE DONE WITH OUR FLORIDA TRAIL RIDERS RACE SEASON!

SUMMER IS UPON US, SCHOOL IS OUT, AND IT IS HOTTER THAN YOU KNOW WHAT!!! SO, IT IS TIME TO START ADDING TRAILS TO OUR PARK AND I HAVE ALREADY STARTED WITH 1 & 1/2 MILES OF NEW 4 WHEEL TRAIL. ALSO, I HAVE ADDED AN INSIDE LOOP AT THE MUD SECTION. (PRAY FOR RAIN ). WE ARE ALSO BREAKING INTO ANOTHER SECTION AND CUTTING IN NEW 2-WHEEL TRAIL. I WILL BE ADDING SOME MORE 2-4 WHEEL TRAIL TO THE BEGINNER TRAIL. ALSO, FROM TIME TO TIME, I WILL BE BUILDING SOME SMALL POP UPS AND JUMPS THROUGHOUT THE WOODS. WE WILL CONTINUE TO IMPROVE OUR PARK AS TIME GOES BY AND SURE HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR TIME HERE.

WE HAVE DECIDED TO MAKE A CHANGE TO OUR TIMES OF OPERATION. WE WILL BE OPEN FROM --- 8 AM TO 5 PM SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS. MONDAY THRU FRIDAY, WE WILL OPEN FOR GROUPS OF 8 OR MORE. WE WILL ALSO BE GLAD TO RENT THE PARK TO GROUPS SUCH AS SCOUTS, YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS, CIVIC GROUPS, ETC. WE WILL REQUIRE THAT YOU CONTACT US NO LESS THAN 5 DAYS IN ADVANCE, A DEPOSIT WILL BE REQUIRED. WE WILL ALSO ASK THAT YOU SIGN A RELEASE FORM, BOTH ADULT AND MINOR.

WE HAVE ALSO PURCHASED A "HD GO-PRO HELMET CAM" AND WILL NOW BE ABLE TO TAKE SOME VIDEO FOR FOLKS TO HAVE A CLOSER LOOK AT OUR PARK AND TRAILS. THAT WILL BE COMING SOON.

I HAVE ALSO BEEN ASKED BY ONE OF OUR 4-WHEEL CUSTOMERS TO PUT IN SOME TIGHT TRAIL. SO I AM WORKING ON THAT, CONSIDER IT DONE!! THAT’S ABOUT IT FOR NOW.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE FOR DRUGS AND ALCOHOL!
